About The Position

Misericordia University invites qualified candidates to apply for a tenure-track faculty position in Physics to begin August 2026. The faculty member will primarily teach introductory physics courses to non-physics majors. The department has research space available, including a benchtop AFM and several 3D printers. Opportunities for inter-departmental research are also possible.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field
• Candidates at ABD status with evidence of expected completion by August 15, 2026
• Must be able to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship
