About The Position

Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) are seeking a full-time Non-tenure track Assistant Professor Pediatric Anesthesiologist. Successful candidates must be board certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology with an MD or equivalent.

Requirements

• M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree required
• Completion of an accredited residency required
• ABPN board certification or board eligibility required
• Unrestricted Tennessee medical license at the time of appointment
• Current DEA certification number
• Eligible for malpractice insurance

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care
• Teaching and supervision of nurse anesthetists and residents
• Opportunities for clinical and basic science research
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
