Requirements
M.D. or D.O. degree
Unrestricted Texas Medical license or eligible for Texas medical licensure
Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology
Fellowship training in gastrointestinal pathology or well documented experience in gastrointestinal, pancreas, liver and biliary tract pathology sign-outs
Experience in general surgical pathology sign-outs
Experience in the interpretation of frozen sections
Experience in the performance and interpretation of bone marrows
Experience in grossing and in performing autopsies
Nice To Haves
Successful completion of a fellowship training program in gastrointestinal pathology
Two or more years post-residency experience
Experience in teaching medical students and residents
Regional or emerging national reputation (for the rank of associate professor or higher)
