West Virginia University (WVU) is seeking a full-time, non-tenure, faculty member for the Medical Laboratory Science Program (MLS), Division of Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics, within the Department of Pathology, Anatomy, and Laboratory Medicine in the School of Medicine. The Division consists of three NAACLS accredited programs; Medical Laboratory Science, Histotechnology, Pathologists’ Assistant. The School of Medicine is part of a thriving academic medical center which also includes the Schools of Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health. Together, the five Schools provide robust opportunities and programs for interprofessional education, collaborative practice, and research. The primary responsibility of this position is classroom and laboratory teaching within the MLS Program which offers both BS and MS degrees. This faculty member will primarily contribute to the teaching of clinical chemistry to undergraduate and graduate MLS students but expertise in other clinical areas will be considered. Other responsibilities will include secondary teaching assignments, student advising and recruiting, and participation in the service and research missions of the School of Medicine.
