About The Position
Emory Healthcare is seeking a Palliative Medicine Physician for a full-time position (1.0 FTE) across various locations including Emory University Hospital Midtown, Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital, Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Emory Decatur Hospital, Supportive Care Clinic, and Grady Hospital. The physician will be responsible for providing palliative care consultations within the hospital, direct care of patients admitted to inpatient hospice, and outpatient consultation and follow-up in the outpatient clinic setting. The position requires 184 clinical days per year, with a target of 160 weekdays and 24 weekend days, and call responsibilities will be evenly distributed among the practice group. The Clinical Practice Base Site for this position will be Emory Decatur Hospital.
