About The Position
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Auburn University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Organic Chemistry. Candidates in all areas of organic chemistry are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to develop a vigorous, externally funded research program. Duties also include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Requirements
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are required.
- A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a closely related field
- At least one year of postdoctoral experience are required at the time employment begins.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States at the time the employee begins and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
