About The Position
The LSU Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Sections of Pulmonary and Critical Care and Cardiology in New Orleans, seeks a physicians board certified / board eligible in Critical Care Medicine to join our faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenu r e, clinical track). The successful candidate will work in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at University Medical Center. This position will be responsible for patient care and ensuring high level clinical education for UME and GME learners. In all care areas, the successful candidate will maintain excellence in patient care, teaching, and research integrity. Academic appointment will be commensurate with professional achievement. Current trainees or junior faculty with an excellent track record of critical care delivery are strongly encouraged to apply.
