The Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is expanding our research faculty. The Department is seeking applicants with a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent who will be expected to establish independent extramural funding that may be supplemented by departmental funds. Ability and willingness to collaborate with other faculty members currently working on the pathobiology of retinal degeneration (e.g., AMD), ocular surface diseases, corneal diseases, corneal cell biology, ocular immunology and inflammation, and ocular infectious diseases is expected.
