About The Position

Applied Music: Voice. Work Performed:      Teaching Voice at the undergraduate and graduate levels.      Actively recruit voice students.      Meet school, college and university standards in instructional responsibilities, intellectual and creative contributions, and professional service.      Teach related courses as needed to meet faculty load requirements.      Serve as requested on school, college, and university committees and in leadership positions in community and professional organizations.

Requirements

• Doctorate level in Voice performance.
• Professional-level competency as vocalist.
• Evidence of successful recruiting and teaching.
• The ability to creatively engage students in the studio.
• Active participation in professional organizations.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of previous college-level teaching are preferred.
• A low voice (Baritone, Bass) is preferred.
