About The Position

The Department of Counselor Education, College Student Personnel, and Social Work invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track assistant professor position in its Bachelor of Social Work Program. The successful candidate will assume a range of primary responsibilities including teaching courses in the Social Work Program and professional duties to support the Social Work curriculum. Candidates are also expected to conduct scholarly/professional duties and departmental, university, and community service.

Requirements

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE accredited program
• Minimum of two years of social work practice experience post MSW
• A record of teaching, research, scholarship, and professional activities to support tenure track requirements
• Commitment to academic excellence
• Ability to teach generalist core BSW courses
• Strong oral and written communication skills
