Southwest Minnesota State University's Undergraduate Social Work program is seeking a dedicated and student-centered full-time faculty member to join our dynamic and growing team. This position is fully virtual, teaching four asynchronous online courses per semester (12 credits total), with a focus on the generalist social work curriculum and academic advising. The person hired for this position would be required to be on campus for seven duty days per academic calendar (duty days in August, January and Commencement in the spring). The travel to and from campus, and housing would be the responsibility of the faculty member. With 327 current undergraduate students - more than 80% enrolled online- our program is expanding rapidly. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality online education and advising students both academically and professionally, in alignment with Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accreditation standards. Applicants must live in the United States at time of employment.
