About The Position

The Assistant Professor of Psychology is dedicated to teaching undergraduates in our liberal arts core, major, and minor courses. Responsibilities include teaching courses such as Health Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Positive Psychology, and advanced course(s) related to the candidate's area of specialty. Courses taught in the service of the department may include Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, and Social Psychology. Departmental and college duties include student advising, recruitment, and academic committees.

Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate courses in Health Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Positive Psychology, and advanced specialty courses.
• Teaching Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, and Social Psychology as needed.
• Student advising.
• Recruitment activities.
• Participation in academic committees.
