The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) graduate program in the Department of Psychology and Counseling at Georgian Court University (GCU) is seeking an energetic and motivated professional to join our department for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a full-time tenure-track position, with initial appointment at the assistant professor level (candidates at the associate or full professor level should also apply, with an expectation of appointment at a level commensurate with experience). Applicants who desire a traditional academic career with scholarship expectations are encouraged to apply. Primary teaching responsibilities for this position will include teaching 24 credits per academic year (12 cr. fall & 12 cr. spring) with the candidate's primary teaching load in the ABA graduate program. Four 3-credit courses per semester is the standard teaching load at GCU for tenure-track faculty. Scholarship, including publications and presentations at state and national conferences, along with service to the department, school, and university, are expected for tenure and promotion to associate or full professor. Mentorship will be provided by the current department and program leadership. The Department of Psychology and Counseling houses undergraduate programs leading to a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Psychology (jointly with Rutgers University). We offer graduate programs in Applied Behavior Analysis (M.A.), Clinical Mental Health Counseling (M.A. and Professional Certificate), and School Psychology (M.A., Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study, and Psy.D.).
