This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person. The Department of Psychology at Texas Christian University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice (P3) faculty position. Candidates must hold a doctorate in Psychology or a closely related field. Candidates should have experience working in applied areas of psychology. We are seeking candidates with training/certifications/licensure in industrial and organizational (I/O) psychology, as well as forensic, school, or counseling psychology. The position will primarily focus on teaching undergraduate students in a specialty area (e.g., I/O psychology, counseling, clinical) while also having a broad background to contribute to the wider teaching needs of the department. We seek candidates with experience supporting internship programs, administrative duties related to curriculum goals, and academic/career advising of undergraduate students. Candidates will be required to assist with advising of psychology majors who are enrolled in the prehealth (e.g., premed) program.
