Assistant Professor of Political Science
About The Position
Assistant Professor of Political Science. Tenure track, nine-month position. Review of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Starting date: September 1, 2026. The person hired will become part of a vibrant interdisciplinary academic unit with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. A successful candidate will have teaching and research interests within the subfields of American or Comparative Politics, with a strong preference for a candidate who can contribute to building a new interdisciplinary MA program in Media Studies. The normal teaching load is three courses per quarter. The School of Human Inquiry offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science, History, Communication Studies, and Sociology, as well as minors in Geography and Philosophy.
