Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies
About The Position
The Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies provides the opportunity to be involved primarily in the clinical education phase of the program but supports the didactic education phase with teaching in areas of clinical and/or professional expertise and participates in on-going program assessment and evaluation, student advising, and departmental committee work. Responsibilities include assisting the clinical director with oversight of all aspects of clinical education; coordinating and monitoring clinical rotation sites and schedules; recruiting; developing and retaining clinical sites and preceptors; developing, implementing, and assessing academic performance evaluations within the clinical phase; and participating in all callback days for clinical students.
