The Human Nutrition Program in the Department of Human Sciences at The Ohio State University (OSU) invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Nutrition & Microbiome Science. We seek a scholar whose research explores the dynamic interactions between nutrition and the gut microbiome, with relevance to human health and disease prevention. The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s mission through innovative research (40% effort), inclusive teaching and student mentorship (40% effort), and professional service to the institution and/or professional organizations (20% effort). Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, microbiome-mediated mechanisms of nutrition-related disorders, multi-omics approaches to personalized nutrition, and dietary modulation of gut microbial communities. This initiative is supported by the Human Nutrition Program in the Department of Human Sciences. This position requires fluency in English.
