About The Position
The College of Arts and Humanities at Lindenwood University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Music (Director of Bands). Faculty and instructors are responsible for curriculum, teaching, service, scholarship, and related administrative activities that support the mission, vision, and values of the university. The Assistant Professor of Music (Director of Bands) is a full-time, 9-month faculty position that will begin August 14, 2025. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. The successful applicant will be a mission-driven team player with a vision for growth in both the size and impact of Lindenwood's athletic bands and the experience to accomplish that vision. They will also be an accomplished musician and instructor eager to provide students in Lindenwood's instrumental music program with an excellent education and learning experience.
