About The Position
The Department of Curriculum & Instruction at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications for a tenure track position as Assistant Professor in Mathematics Education. The Assistant Professor of Mathematics will teach undergraduate and graduate mathematics methods courses in both the Childhood Education 1-6 and Adolescence Education 7-12 programs; supervise mathematics education candidates in field experiences; provide program and academic advisement; participate in program recognition and School of Education program review; and serve on department, School of Education, and university committees. The incumbent will be expected to display a demonstrated excellence in teaching and scholarship potential, commitment to undergraduate and graduate education, and possess communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a diverse array of students and colleagues.
