Kenyon College seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics beginning July 2026. A Ph.D. in applied mathematics or a Ph.D. in mathematics with an applied specialty is required, as well as prior teaching experience, preferably at a U.S. college or university or an equivalent institution. Within the field of applied mathematics, all areas of expertise are welcomed. The successful applicant will expand and enhance the applied mathematics offerings of the department. Our department has a strong commitment to student-centered learning; thus, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in active learning pedagogies.
