About The Position

The School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting Fall 2025. In addition to teaching and published research, faculty obligations include committee service, advising, and additional service to the School of Business and College. The normal teaching load is three courses per semester. Research is required at a level consistent with an AACSB-accredited institution with a 3 + 3 teaching load. Summer research grants are guaranteed for the first two years and available by a competitive application process thereafter. A commitment to academic excellence and the ability to work effectively and collegially are expected.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Marketing or a closely-related field is required; ABDs will be strongly considered.
  • Demonstrated teaching excellence in Marketing or related subjects.
  • Experience or interest in teaching Digital Marketing, Advertising / IMC, Principles of Marketing, Sales / Sales Management, Marketing Research, or Marketing Management.
  • A record of published scholarly activity in refereed journals, commensurate with year of degree completion.
  • Publications in journals recognized by the Australian Business Dean's Council (ABDC) are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
