About The Position

West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), part of the WVU system of campuses located in Beckley, WV, is currently inviting applications and nominations for the following employment opportunity: The Department of Accounting and Management in the School of Business invites applications for a nine month, full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Management position to begin in August 2026. Responsibilities include teaching 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester in various business-related courses, along with other duties commensurate with a teaching position. The department is particularly interested in applicants with expertise in micro- and macro-organizational theories, and quantitative theory including primary courses such as International Business, Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Statistics, Business Research, and secondary courses such as Entrepreneurship and Marketing. The position requires course delivery in both in-person and online formats using Blackboard and adherence to Quality Matters Standards. Additional responsibilities include student advising, recruitment, retention, curriculum assessment, involvement with student organizations, and other faculty-related duties. Date of Appointment: August 14, 2026 Application Deadline: Review of applications will begin immediately Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
