Alvernia University is seeking a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management and Director of the MBA Online Program, starting in August 2025. This role involves teaching, managing the MBA program, and contributing to the university's mission of promoting social justice and diversity.   • Develop and implement strategies for the growth and enhancement of the online MBA program.
  • Collaborate with faculty, alumni, business and university community, and relevant stakeholders to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the online MBA program.
  • Mentor and advise MBA students and engage in curriculum development and program assessment.
  • Oversee all aspects of the online MBA program, including budget, student recruitment and retention, and faculty hiring and support.
  • Actively participate in departmental, college, and university activities that support the mission of Alvernia University.
  • Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Prior teaching experience in the MBA program is preferred.
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching with a demonstrated ability to incorporate diverse pedagogical approaches in varied learning environments.
  • Demonstrated commitment to service and a defined research agenda.
  • Academic credentials and business experience to ensure an appropriate blend of theory, practice, and scholarship.
  • Experience with high-impact practices such as service learning, experiential learning, and action research.
