The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of Management at the Gary W. Rollins College of Business. This position primarily focuses on teaching Human Resource Management, with a competitive salary and benefits package that aligns with peer institutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching nine credit hours per semester, engaging in research that leads to publications in quality refereed journals, and contributing to service at the Department, College, and University levels. The Rollins College of Business is distinguished by its long-standing AACSB accreditation at both undergraduate and graduate levels, serving approximately 2,400 students with a faculty that is both highly productive and collegial. Qualified applicants must possess or be on track to complete a doctoral degree in Business Management or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution by August 2025. A strong research portfolio in human resource management and demonstrated teaching ability at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels are essential. Candidates should have proven experience or the ability to instruct in various modalities, including online formats. Additionally, interest and experience in teaching HR Technology and HR Analytics are required, while a preference for teaching Coaching Employees is also noted.
