About The Position

The Department of Behavioral Health Science & Practice (BHSP), College of Behavioral and Community Sciences (CBCS), University of South Florida (USF) invites applications from qualified candidates to fill a 9-month faculty position as an Instructor. Salary is competitive. This position will involve development and teaching of primarily undergraduate courses and involvement in other administrative tasks related to teaching as assigned by the Academic Director or Chair of BHSP. The Department of Behavioral Health Science & Practice (BHSP), College of Behavioral and Community Sciences (CBCS), University of South Florida (USF) invites applications from qualified candidates to fill a 9-month faculty position as an Instructor. The position is located on the USF Tampa campus. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• The successful candidate must hold, at a minimum, a Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience
• A demonstrated record of teaching or training in areas consistent with the mission of BHSP
• Otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties

Nice To Haves

• Beyond minimum qualifications, the preferred candidate will hold a terminal degree (e.g., DSW, PhD, EdD, EdS, DrPH)
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A record of collaborative work with academic and/or community partners
• Two more years of experience teaching and/or training at the undergraduate or graduate level
• Clinical licensure is preferred
