About The Position

The Department of Languages, Histories and Cultures Studies at Bethune-Cookman University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in History, beginning in August 2019. Preferred candidates will have experience teaching general history courses, African-American History, or Public History. Preferred candidates will also demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research, teaching and service. A Ph.D. in History is required at the time of appointment. The position also requires the ability to mentor students.

Responsibilities

  • Teach four (4) courses
