About The Position
Fairmont State University Department of Humanities seeks a tenure-track Journalism/Technical Writing instructor. The 4/4 teaching load consists of two Journalism courses per semester and two General Studies technical writing classes including collection of course assessment data. In addition, the candidate will also serve as faculty sponsor for the campus newspaper and will demonstrate an energetic commitment to recruiting and retaining majors. We are particularly seeking candidates with experience in multimedia journalism and digital storytelling.
