About The Position
Mercer County Community College (MCCC) is seeking a full-time tenure-track professor of English to start in the Fall 2025 semester. The ideal applicant should have an area of academic specialization in Rhetoric and Composition, Literature, and/or Reading; experience with multimodal instructional practices; and a successful record of current best practices teaching English at the post-secondary level. Reporting to the Dean, full-time faculty prioritize reflective teaching practices to support students' learning and success. The position prepares and delivers classroom instruction for selected courses and serves as a valued member of the College. Full-time faculty provide assistance to students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate college resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available to complement the teaching and learning process and provide a direct impact to student success.
