Contra Costa College is accepting applications for part-time Assistant Professors in the English Department at Contra Costa College. The position entails teaching literature and composition classes in both on-campus and online modalities. The teaching assignment will mainly include transfer-level composition as well as supporting the department and college in incorporating a culturally responsive curriculum. The assignment may also include working with learning communities that support African American students, Latinx students, or other groups. The student population of Contra Costa College (CCC) reflects its surrounding diverse communities. CCC is a proud Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution (AANAPISI), and serves predominantly historically disadvantaged and under-represented student groups including African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, and Latinx students.
