The Department of Physical Sciences of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Campus, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of materials physics related to aerospace applications. The successful candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering, or a closely-related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated research interests in physics of materials, nano and quantum materials, laser and plasma material interactions, and similar areas. The department has a strong history of excellence in the fields of space and atmospheric physics. This position will be filled by an individual with experimental expertise and will complement our current research efforts. Candidates with a strong commitment to both research and teaching excellence are encouraged to apply.
