About The Position

The School of Engineering is seeking two 9-month, tenure-earning, Assistant Professors of Electrical Engineering. These positions will report to Dr. Alan Harris, Director of the School of Engineering. Position responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses with a 2/2 teaching load, leading an externally funded research program in their field and service to the School, College of Computing, Engineering and Construction and the University of North Florida. Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 3, 2026.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely-related field
  • Demonstrated record of scholarly achievement
  • Evidence of teaching excellence
