About The Position

The School of Education at Stockton University in Galloway, NJ is seeking to fill a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Education within the Master of Arts in Education (MAED) program. This position will start September 1, 2026.

Requirements

Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction or Educational Leadership or Literacy from an accredited institution of higher education
Teaching experience in higher education
At least three years of public school teaching experience in grades k-12

Demonstrate evidence of teaching graduate courses in curriculum and teaching, educational leadership, or literacy
Demonstrate evidence of using innovative educational technologies in pedagogical practice

Responsibilities

An assistant professor to teach graduate courses in the MAED program, as well as in the General Studies curriculum
Candidate has the opportunity to teach k-12 content, pedagogy, educational leadership, or literacy courses
Serve as an advisor for students in the School of Education
Engage in appropriate scholarship including research, manuscript publications, and reputable presentations in the field of education
Provide service to the University, community, and field of education
