The Department of Economics at St. Olaf College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in Applied Microeconomics at the Assistant Professor level, to begin August 2026. Fields of interest to us include urban economics, the economics of race and gender, labor economics, education economics, public policy, and economic history. The successful candidates will likely teach advanced cross-sectional econometrics, introduction to econometrics, principles of economics and elective courses at the intermediate and advanced levels related to their fields. The teaching load is five courses per year. New tenure-track faculty are eligible for research start-up funds and also receive annual professional activity funds. Additional funds to support research and travel are available by application.
