About The Position

The Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies at the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics and Real Estate beginning August 16, 2026. Primary duties include teaching economics and real estate courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, engaging in a research program that results in outstanding scholarly publications, and performing service as assigned by the Department, College, and University

Requirements

• A doctoral degree in in economics, finance, real estate or a closely related field (in hand or completed by August 16, 2026)
• A high-quality research agenda, and current working/published papers
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching
