Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, welcomes applicants for an Assistant Professor of Developmental Psychology to begin Fall 2026 . For more information, please visit https://www.tamiu.edu/ This is a 9-month tenure-track faculty position with reduced teaching load to allow for scholarly productivity. Primary duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and mentoring students. A 2-2 course load is provided in the first two years of hire to allow faculty to establish or maintain research productivity. Depending on the nature of research and productivity, a research lab may be provided. Duties also include serving on departmental, university, professional, and community committees. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace. The department is multidisciplinary as it includes degrees in psychology and communication. Faculty in psychology are highly research productive and have unique research labs to support their research. They subscribe to Sona System for research management.
