Assistant Professor of Construction Management - Roger Williams University
About The Position
The School of Engineering, Computing and Construction Management at Roger Williams University invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Construction Management. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in innovative, collaborative and interdisciplinary teaching/research in areas including but not limited to sustainability, coastal construction/resilience, materials and methods, estimating, scheduling, and project control. The successful candidate also will have a strong interest in and be expected to participate fully in the assessment of student learning outcomes and accreditation activities; advise students to help them attain academic and professional success; work with student organizations and/or mentor student competition teams; collaborate/interact with related disciplines, industry partners, and communities; pursue professional development to include scholarly activity; and participate in service activities in support of the University, School, and Program. This position will have a start date in January 2026. Review of applications will begin August 15, 2025 and will continue until the position is filled.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering or closely related field, preferably from an accredited institution, is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching and industry experience in the USA also is preferred.
