California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering. Candidates must be committed to contributing to an undergraduate-centered, pedagogically innovative, and modern Computer Engineering degree program. Applications from contemporary areas of research are welcome, including robotics, cyber-physical systems, embedded systems and edge computing, computer architecture and high-performance computing, quantum computing, VLSI design, hardware–software co-design, cloud and distributed systems, hardware security, machine learning hardware, and bio-inspired computing. Electrical and Computer Engineering is among the fastest growing departments at CSUSM, with state-of-the-art modern laboratories, ABET accreditation, and close relations with local industry.
