The University of Northern Colorado School of Music invites applications for a full-time, contract-renewable appointment as collaborative piano and piano pedagogy faculty member. Candidates must be able to teach a diverse group of students and create an equitable and safe environment that fosters belonging. Specific responsibilities include teaching graduate collaborative piano lessons and studio class, teaching and developing undergraduate and graduate courses in piano pedagogy, supervising doctoral research and writing in collaborative piano and piano pedagogy, supervising graduate assistants in the piano division, and possibly additional areas within the School of Music based on a candidate's strengths, qualifications, and interests. Other assignments will depend on interest, experience, and program needs. The successful candidate will actively recruit music majors within the framework of our goal of increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion, and work collaboratively with colleagues to advance the School's programs and initiatives.
