About The Position

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Develop and teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The typical teaching load is three courses per semester. Maintain a productive program of research, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Supervise graduate and undergraduate student research. Seek external funding (e.g., research, workforce development, outreach, program development). Provide professional service to the program, department, university, community, and discipline. Work to extend research, service, training, or other professional efforts to support all individuals from a variety of populations.

Requirements

• PhD or PsyD from an APA -accredited doctoral program with a specialization in Clinical Psychology, including combined programs (e.g., Clinical/School Psychology, Clinical/Community Psychology).
• ABD will be considered for this position. Evidence of successful defense of the dissertation must be received by July 31 for a fall hire or November 30 for a spring hire.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a Psychologist, Health Service Provider in North Carolina through the NC State Board of Examiners of Psychologists by the start of appointment.
• Evidence of success or potential for developing significant research, quality publications, and external funding.
• Demonstrated history or promise of teaching excellence.
