About The Position

This position involves evaluation and treatment of patients as a part of the outpatient and inpatient unit of the Psychiatry faculty practice at the University of Miami affiliated clinics and supervision of psychiatry fellows, general residents, and trainees in the provision of clinical services.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• M.D. or M.D./PhD.
• Board eligibility in psychiatry.
• Florida medical license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of Cancer patients referred to the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences clinics.
• Teaching and supervising residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Rotating monthly in the faculty call schedule.
• Additional clinical duties as assigned by the Division Chief or Department Chair/Vice Chair.
• Participation in research and other academic activities.
