About The Position
The position involves clinical duties as a Neonatal Attending in the Neonatal Services at Jackson Main, Jackson South, and Jackson North Hospitals, providing medical care for neonates in these units. Responsibilities include providing antenatal consultation for high-risk pregnancies, assisting with the care and stabilization of infants in the delivery rooms, providing medical care in the pediatric intermediate unit, and conducting daily rounds on patients in the different neonatal special care units. Additionally, the role requires active participation in teaching and educational activities for pediatric residents, neonatal fellows, and medical students. The job also necessitates the development and participation in original research, either clinical or translational, for which extramural funding should be sought.
