About The Position

The University of Memphis is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Cellular & Molecular Biology in the Department of Biological Sciences. The successful candidate will develop a research program in cellular and molecular biology, teach undergraduate courses, and engage in departmental service activities. The position emphasizes innovative research approaches and the training of graduate and undergraduate students.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or foreign degree equivalent in biology or a closely related field.
• Minimum of twelve months of experience as a postdoctoral researcher, fellow, or similar position.
• At least five peer-reviewed publications.
