About The Position

The Assistant Professor of Business Administration position at Georgian Court University is a full-time, tenure track or non-tenure track role focused on teaching and academic service. Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Business Administration or a related field (ABD considered).
• Teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Professional experience in business, quantitative methods, and/or technology.
• Evidence of research activity and scholarship (for tenure track).
• Experience in curriculum development, including embedding technology into courses.
• Commitment to diversity and sensitivity to related issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively.
• Ability to teach in various formats (traditional, hybrid, online).
• Willingness to learn and effectively use instructional technology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in teaching quantitative methods and technology courses.
• Sustained professional engagement in marketing or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Teach accounting courses at the undergraduate level.
• Teach in the Master of Business Administration and potentially the Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communication program.
• Provide academic advising and support to students.
• Engage in scholarly activity and research (for tenure track).
• Advise student research projects.
• Perform departmental administrative duties as needed by the Department Chair.
• Offer service to the department, University, and community.
