About The Position

The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Grove School of Engineering at the City College of New York (CCNY) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vibrant externally funded research program and demonstrate excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Department offers an outstanding research environment with strengths in biomaterials/nanotechnology, cardiovascular engineering, musculoskeletal engineering, and neural engineering. We encourage applications from applicants whose expertise aligns with and strengthens these areas, with particular interest in biomaterials/nanotechnology/regenerative medicine and cardiovascular engineering. CCNY also anchors the New York Center for Biomedical Engineering, a unique and long-standing consortium of the Grove School of Engineering and major health care institutions and research medical centers in New York City. This partnership provides extensive collaborative research and training opportunities. Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent).
