About The Position

Assistant/Associate Professor of Graphic Design. This is a full time, tenure track position in the Art Department within the College of Arts & Humanities.

Requirements

• MFA in Graphic Design or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with the Adobe Creative Suite in the creation of Graphic Design, and expertise with Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop.
• Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a history of working effectively with colleagues.

Nice To Haves

• Professional experience in Graphic Design or related field.
• Experience with both Macintosh and PC platforms.
• Experience in the creation of web design and animation.
• Experience teaching graphic design at the college/university level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach a variety of undergraduate courses.
• Effectively advise and mentor students at the undergraduate level.
• Engage students in high impact learning practices.
• Develop a sustainable scholarship program, including seeking external funds.
• Provide meaningful service to the department, college, university, and profession.
• Engage in assessment and continuous improvement of courses.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Department Head.
