The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas invites applications for a tenure-track position in Mathematics at the rank of assistant professor, to begin Fall Semester 2026. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and show strong potential for productive research/scholarly activities. The successful candidate will have experience and/or interest in mathematics education and will be expected to teach a variety of undergraduate courses housed in the Department of Mathematics. Responsibilities will include teaching mathematics content classes for prospective K-12 teachers. The standard teaching load for this position is 3 courses (12 credits) per semester. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to our mathematical community in part by maintaining an active research agenda. All areas of research will be considered; work with undergraduate students is encouraged and supported. Other duties include advising students and engaging in service activities.
