About The Position
The School of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Materials Engineering (MAME) at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in August 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in mechanical engineering, establishing a collaborative and externally funded research program, and providing professional service. Mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students is also a key expectation of this role.
