About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant Professor in Residence, School of Nursing. This is a search for an Assistant Professor-in Residence (Non-Tenure-Track) within the School of Nursing. Primary responsibilities of an appointment are to (1) teach nursing courses consistent with area of expertise; (2) collaborate with other faculty in course development; (3) use teaching resources, such as WebCampus/Canvas to foster learning; (4) provide student supervision; (5) participate in school, university, professional and community service activities. Classes in the School of Nursing are offered year-round, using a trimester sequence.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Nursing or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Encumbered Nevada Registered Nurse License or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date

• Teach nursing courses consistent with area of expertise
