About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor-In-Residence and GPR Clinic Director for the School of Dental Medicine. This role involves overseeing and teaching General Practice Residency (GPR) residents, providing hands-on direction in their daily activities, and contributing to community-oriented programs. Requirements

• D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from a CODA accredited college or university.
• Experience and expertise in General Dentistry.
• Eligibility for licensure in Nevada.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a dental education environment.
• AEGD, Operative, and/or GPR experience preferred.
• Eligibility for hospital credentialing and ability to supervise an on-call schedule at UMC.
• Moderate sedation license or eligibility for a Nevada moderate sedation license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of the GPR Program by overseeing and teaching GPR Residents.
• Supervise and teach residents both didactically and clinically.
• Engage in community programs and faculty practice opportunities.
