Penn State Behrend invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Computer Science and Software Engineering, to begin in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in both residential and online formats. Teaching opportunities may include quantum computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, software engineering, architectural design, testing, and/or maintenance. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will be expected to establish and sustain a funded research program that involves students and contributes to the advancement of the field. The successful candidate will also be expected to demonstrate a steadfast commitment to undergraduate education, applied research, and collaborative engagement. Service to the department, college, and university is also an important component of this role.
